Peninsula of Giens

This strip of land plays the tightrope between the Mediterranean and the continent. Attached to the shore like two arms, a marsh area that is converted into a salt lake and a stopover for migratory birds. The western flank, preserved and natural, is bordered by the salt lake that leads to the beach of L’Almanarre, a famous spot for windsurfing and sailing. It is ideal for walking or cycling and its steep shores are also home to beautiful beaches.
